Important Deadlines
- Apply to the Art Education Program @ CCNY by March 15!
- Registration ends the day before classes start, but sign up early!
- Take the state certification exams (EAST & CST-Visual Arts) in your first year. You need to pass one of them to be eligible to student teach.
- Apply to student teach the semester before you plan to student teach.
- This is typically by November 15 for a Spring Student Teaching Start and April 15 for a Fall Student Teaching Start. BUT check the official School of Education website for full details.
- Apply to graduate: Check your CCNY Email for updates on deadlines and fill out the form here when you’re in your last semester.
