On Tuesday, May 19, 2026 the Arts Education Departments (Art Education + Educational Theatre) celebrated the Spring 2026 Grad Cohort at Aaron Davis Hall!
Our Art Education grads contributed in a group show that featured artworks of various media that was tied to their research topics. Educational Theatre grads collaborated on an ethnodrama they performed. The night ended in an awards ceremony for all graduates!
As our graduates go off into the world, let’s not forget how we were able to dream and imagine a better future together at CCNY! Below is an example from Community-Based Art Education (one of our core classes) that outlined a 10 step plan for friendship:
